Anne-Marie Wetmore

Founder and Principal Counsellor

I have extensive experience that spans more than 14years in counselling children and young people in primary and secondary schools. I have been privileged to journey with children and young people through life’s transitions and hardships to see them grow to believe in themselves and improve relationships.

My passion is child centred play therapy, where children are given the opportunity to express themselves in a non-directive and developmentally appropriate way. This has lead me to open my own private practice to service families in the Mansfield community.

I have a Bachelor of Social Work, a Bachelor of Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Art and Play Therapy and am registered with the Australian Counselling Association.

Outside of counselling, I enjoy nature and the outdoors, walking my dog, reading, and learning more about human nature.
