Counselling provides a safe, confidential space with a non-judgemental, trained professional to explore many of life's challenges. Through this trusting relationship, a person is able to gain insight and develop tools to enhance their wellbeing.
In counselling, we explore challenges such as grief and loss, changes and transitions, emotional regulation, anxiety, trauma, stress, burn out, depression, fears and phobias, interpersonal relationships, behavioural problems and self image.
You are welcome to contact me to learn more about my counselling practice.

Play is an appropriate technique in counselling children, as it is the way children express and explore. It is also a fun and engaging way to connect with a therapist in a safe environment. Through play children can learn constructive ways to express emotions, control behaviours, explore identity, make decisions, accept responsibility, problem solve and improve interpersonal relationships.

Research has shown that using art in counselling can help to improve self-esteem and self-awareness, encourage expression of emotions and improve resilience and social skills.
It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities and is especially suited for children and those who struggle to express themselves. No artistic talent is required as art therapy is about the process rather than the finished product.
